Synergen Health, an innovator in healthcare revenue cycle management technology enabled solutions and services, is honoured to be recognised for its achievements in 2021 by the Great Place to Work program.
Great Place to Work has surveyed more than 100 million employees since 1992 using its ‘for All’ methodology built on trust to ensure that every single employee, no matter their role, is having a consistently positive experience at work.
“Enhancing our employees’ experience is a core objective for us, and we are pleased to be awarded for our efforts,” said Synergen Health Co-founder and Managing Partner Mel Gunawardena. “Our expectation that employees will enjoy their time working and growing in their careers here at Synergen Health allows us to better serve clients through innovative technology and data-driven solutions that are transforming our client’s revenue cycle operations.”
Great Place to Work analyses employee experience based on the company’s size, workforce demographics, and industry norms. Daily experiences regarding innovation, their organisations’ values, and the effectiveness of their leaders are also considered.
Organisations are also evaluated on how well they create a ‘for All’ workplace experience, inclusive of all employees no matter who they are or what they do. The purpose of these evaluations is to determine whether an organisation’s employees have trust in leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs, and the extent to which they enjoy their colleagues.
Though the last two years have presented many challenges due to the pandemic, Synergen Health has exceeded employee expectations due to its open and collaborative culture. Their work environment enables Synergen Health to empower our team members to grow from each other.
Encouraging an innovative culture enhances the customer experience and overall company success. A focus on work-life balance is a top priority for Synergen Health, and that focus reflects on the company’s growth culture, productivity and level of employee trust recognised by the high standards of the Great Place to Work program.
“The pandemic has challenged us in ways that we could have never predicted, but we pushed through and came out a stronger workforce nearly two years later,” continued Gunawardena. “I am so proud of our team and look forward to the future as we continue to create a balanced work-life in a high-performing company culture.”
Accolades that Synergen Health has received from the Great Place to Work Institute in 2021 include:
“It’s critical to determine how best to encourage innovative spirit at the workplace and support employees in excelling at their jobs in a remote working environment. As industries across the globe continue to weather the aftershock of the pandemic, it’s essential we stay focused, united, and continuously support our biggest asset – our people,” said Synergen Health Vice President, Consulting and Business Development Teri Schmidt. “Additionally, to be recognised for our commitment to creating a safe and comfortable workplace for women with equal opportunities for career progression is also rewarding. We will continue to place importance on expanding our cultural footprint as well as the needs of our employees as we navigate new challenges in 2022.”
