Vinod Weerasinghe wins VGCR Junior Championship 2016

Victoria Golf and Country Resort (VGCR) conducted its Junior Championship 2016 event recently with more than 60 youngsters teeing off for honours at the annual event. The much anticipated event was won by Vinod Weerasinghe, who walked away with the overall championship.

Gold Division winner (age 15 to 18) – Armand Flamer Caldera

Runner up – Januka Dilshan

Silver Division winner (age 13 to 15) –Taniya Minel

Runner up – D. Dhuvarshan

Bronze Division winner (age 10 to 13) – Sherin Mithara

Runner up – Nirekh Tejwani

Copper Division winner (age 9 and below) – Shenal Binusha

Runner up – Kvahn Tejwani
