Valvoline Lubricants sponsors Rohitha Rajapaksa for second consecutive year

Valvoline lubricants and Eagle One Car Care products through its local partner United Motors Lanka PLC recently extended its racing sponsorship for the second consecutive year to young and upcoming racing driver, Rohitha Rajapaksa, who competes in the SL-N Standard cars up to 1,000cc and SLGT cars up to 3,500cc.
Rohitha Rajapaksa who entered into racing in 2009 has secured many podium finishes in his Nissan March in the SL-N standard cars category of up to 1,000 cc.
This year Rohitha will also concentrate on working his way up in the SLGT category in his Subaru Sti 10 which is considered to be the fastest event of any motor race in Sri Lanka.
Valvoline lubricants which has been involved in local motor racing for over 12 years has demonstrated its superior quality of oils through many leading racing drivers. Valvoline which is also involved in international motor sports has placed much confidence in Rohitha Rajapaksa to enhance its brand presence in the local motor racing arena. Furthermore Valvoline’s worldwide involvement in motor sports include NASCAR in the USA, WRC in Europe and Super Car in Australia and New-Zealand.
Among his latest achievements, he was the winner of the Fox Hill Motor Cross and Carlton Super Cross 2014 in his Nissan March, under the SL-N standard cars category of up to 1,000 cc.
