The Trinity and St Anthony’s Katugastota Annual Cricket encounter will turn as its 100th encounter this season which will be played at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium. The encounter will be moved to the Pallekelle in order to preserve the neutrality of the match.
This encounter will be played over two days and both schools are planning to invite some top class cricketers who did a yeoman service for their respective Alma-mater and the country later on. Former Antonian and Sri Lankan wicket-keeper, Mahesh Gunatilake, world record holder for wickets Muttiah Muralitharan, former Trinity fast bowler Ravi Ratnayake and world famous Kumar Sangakkara are expected to grace the special occasion on 10 & 11 of March 2017.
