Trinity College outclassed St. Anthony’s College Katugastota by nine wickets in their limited over encounter played for the Richard Aluvihare Trophy at Katugastota over the weekend.
Trinity wrapped up the game in a little over two hours after bowling the visitors out for just 89. In reply, the Lions lost only one wicket while chasing down the required target.
St. Anthony’s, Katugastota 89 all out in 31 overs (Mohammed Alfer 24,Kavindu Yapa Bandara 20, Theeksha Gunasinghe 16, Janidu Himsara 12, Lahiru Kumara 2 for 18, Raveen Sayer 3 for 7, Shanogeeth Shanmuganathan 2 for 12).
Trinity 91 for 1 in 9.4 overs (Nushan Weerasinghe 29, Shanogeeth Shanmuganathan 31 not out, Dilan Jayalath 19 not out).
