Trinity knocked out at Under 17 semi finals

Trinity College was stopped by Ananda College at the semifinal stage in their Inter school Under 17 limited over encounter which concluded at the R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday. After scoring a modest 200 Ananda defended well by bowling out Trinity for a low 142.

Sammu Ashan scored a brilliant 70 and captured six wickets giving away only 26 runs with a superb all round performance.

Today St. Sebastian’s will meet Isipathana at the same venue.
