Travel Trade Sports Club gears for active months

The Travel Trade Sports Club will be quite busy during the month of November, as it will be conducting three tournaments, namely the Swimming Championships, the postponed Softball Cricket Sixes and the Hardball Cricket Sixes.

The swimming comes first on Saturday, 21 November at the Thurstan College Pool, commencing 2 p.m.

The Softball Cricket Sixes will be held the very next day, Sunday, 22 November at the Shalika and D.S. Senanayake College grounds, commencing 8 a.m.

The Hardball Cricket Sixes will be held on Saturday, 28 November at the BRC grounds, commencing 8:30 a.m.

The TTSC had already completed its Bowling, Badminton, Carom, Archery and Pool tournaments. 

The Table Tennis Tournament is scheduled to be held on 5 December at S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium.

In the pipeline are the Beach Tag Rugby at Mt. Lavinia, Beach Volleyball at Club Bentota and the Soccer Sevens.

The TTSC Ball 2015, the Gala Dinner Dance 2015 was held on 24 October at The Kingsbury which was a tremendous success.
