Travel Trade annual bowling championship today

The Travel Trade Sports Club, multi sports events calendar 2017 gets off to a start with the 16th Annual Bowling Championships today (6 May) at the Strikes Cosmic Bowling Centre, Excel World, Colombo 10, from 1.30 pm onwards.

The tournament for the second time running is sponsored by Opanima Gems & Jewelry  Ltd., Kandy. 

According to Tournament Coordinator Dilshan Gnanapragasam, up to Thursday,  52 teams had confirmed participation.

At  the 2016 tournament held on 06 August at the same venue, where the highest number of 74 teams participated, Luxe Asia “A” won Gold, Luxe Asia “C” won silver and  new come, Holiday Plan DMC “B” won Bronze.

Managing Director, Opanima Gems & Jewelry  Ltd, Sarath Sumanaweera will grace the awards as the chief guest.
