Team John Keells Holdings lifted the inaugural SAP Invitational F15 Cricket Cup defeating Unichela in a nail biting finale. John Keels Holdings and Unichela qualified for the finals of the tournament, which kick-started on 28 July saw 14 teams vying for the top title over 22 games in the past month.
“The SAP F15 tournament is part of our continued efforts to interact with our customers outside of business. We are extremely excited that 14 top companies of Sri Lanka were part of this endeavor,” said Sunil Kharbanda, Head of Support Services & License Compliance, SAP India. “We hope to continue this relationship and passion with our customers on and off the cricket field.” he added.
Ashan Pieris, of John Keells Holdings was awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ for making a quick 24 runs. Ranga Dias of Janashakthi was awarded the ‘Man of the Tournament’ for scoring a total of 175 runs across all matches he played.
Conceptualized as a means to bring together the SAP network, the event demonstrates SAP’s spirit of engagement with its ecosystem of customers and partners, as well as employees, and its desire to cultivate relationships beyond boardrooms.
