Team DSL did it again

It was another exciting weekend of racing in the cool climate of the best gravel track in Sri-Lanka, the ‘FOX HILL SUPERCROSS 2012’ races at Diyatalawa on 22nd April 2012. With several top racers in the track, it was another day for the cars and the drivers to show off their skills.

NGK -DSL line up of cars in their own paddock tents drew the crowd to see the blue & white lined up for the races. It was truly a big day as all eyes were eagerly watching the race track. Over 75,000 spectators watched the races live while Team dsl did it again with several key victories to their names.

NGK Spark Plugs play a significant role in saving fuel. The endorsement of NGK among first class race drivers confirms that “Leaders Use the Best.”

Team dsl was seen in action on the race track for 2012 race season since early this year. Joining hands with more qualified and high performance drivers who have proven records on race tracks, team dsl has proved itself as a CHAMPION among other racers.

The winners of ‘FOXHILL SUPERCROSS 2012’ held on 22nd April 2012 are;

Upluwan in his Ford Laser and Mazda secured 1st place in both SLN 1.5 & SLN 1.3

Janaka in his 2000 Subaru secured the 3rd place in SLGT and in his Honda VTEC secured 2nd place in both SLH 1.6 race 1 and 2

Lakmal in his mini secured 1st place in the Mini 7 race

Lalin in his Ford Laser SLN.1.5 secured 2nd place

A total of 7 race awards won by team dsl at this event brings the team’s total to 25 awards won for the year 2012. This is the 4th race event for the year with 5 more big events to look forward to before the end of the year.

Team dsl also took part in the ‘SIGIRIYA RALLY CROSS’ and ‘Kandy NIGHT RACES’ early this year.

The determined drivers are enthusiastic of their consecutive victory and are all out to make their WINS at the forth coming races lined up for this year.
