Sri Lanka national selectors named a 30 member pool in preparation for the Junior World Rugby Tournament (JWRT) which will take place in Singapore from 13-19 December. The outfit will be led by former Isipathana skipper and present Navy SC player Omalka Gunaratne with Peterite Kevin Dixon assisting him.
The squad which underwent a 10 day training camp in Diyatalawa and a practice game two days back at the Royal Sports Complex will have 25 members on tour. They will be named one week before their departure to Singapore.
Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore and Sri Lanka will feature in group encounters with the winner moving forward for the Junior Rugby World Cup in 2016. The majority of the players are from Royal (7) and Isipathana (7).
