Soccer tourney on Sunday to mark Malgawatte Youth Sports Club 30th anniversary

The Maligawatte Youth Sports Club has organised 11 A Side over 40 soccer  tournament to mark the 35th Anniversary of the Club will be held on 27th Sunday May 2012 at 8.00 a.m. onwards at the P.D. Sirisena Playground , Maligawatte Colombo.

 The participating 12 teams  will be Rathnams SC, Old Bens SC, Old Zahira Veterans, Gampola Zahira Veterans, Maligawatte Youth SC, Collpetty United SC, Java Lane SC, Cooray SC, Super Star SC, Sun Rise SC, Slave Island Elevens and Colombo Veterans.

The winning team of this tournament will be given cash award Rs. 30,000, first runners up Rs. 15,000, best keeper Rs. 3,000 and best player Rs. 3,000.

The Mayor of Colombo Municipal Council A.J.M. Muzzamil will be the chief guest and will distribute the prizes to the winners.

ITN Director Hashim Omar, Members of the Provincial Councils and Municipal Council will participate.
