SLT succeeds in winning overall Mercantile Athletics Championship 2016

For the third consecutive year, Sri Lanka Telecom emerged victorious at the 33rd Annual Mercantile Athletic Championship 2016 held at the Mahinda Rajapakse Stadium in Diyagama from 19-21 August.

The company succeeded in gaining an impressive, unmatched score of 422 points, having competed against over 1,900 athletes from 48 large private sector companies. The second and third places were secured by MAS Holding Ltd. and Airport and Aviation Services Ltd.  SLT succeeded in winning six titles: Overall Winner of the Mercantile Athletic Championships 2016, Best Athlete Over 55 – Women, Best Athlete Over 45 – Women, Overall Masters Champions – Women, Overall Masters Champions – Men and Overall Champions – Men.
