Rain mars MCA Division league matches

Rain once again put the spanner in the wheel, spoiling last week-end’s matches in the “Elephant –Lemonade” Cup, MCA Division “D” 50 –overs League Tournament 2012.

Out of the four matches billed for the week-end, one game was abandoned without a ball being bowled while two were curtailed with the “Parabola” system being used to arrive at a result.

In the only match that went the distance, Textured Jersey beat Hayleys by 04 wickets at MCA.

At Thurstan: SL Telecom “A” Vs. Softlogic was abandoned without a ball being bowled, due to water logged grounds.

At MCA: PABC beat SL Telecom “A” by 06 runs on the “Parabola” system

The “league” stage after 16 matches is now over. The tournament will be continued this week-end, 3 and 4 December with the Quarter-finals.
