Prima Treats will cosponsor the first XV rugby team of S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia for the 2017 season.

Having concluded a thrilling campaign in 2016, and ending up as the league runners-up, the STC rugby team is aiming to reclaim its past glory during the campaign for the 2017 championship.

S. Thomas’ College is widely renowned and respected for its valuable contributions to the sport at large, having produced some of the brightest stars in the game and looking poised to continue to do so in the time to come.

Prima Treats will be associated with the sport and will extend its involvement, rather than being limited to providing a mere sponsorship, by erecting colourful stalls at all home matches which will represent the vibrant brand.

Sausages, hotdogs, grilled marinated chicken parts and crumb-coated chicken delights will be served hot in order to cater to the crowds at the action-packed encounters.

“Rugby has always been an important part of the tradition at S. Thomas’ and the teams are well-known for their skill on the field. Just as Prima Treats takes taste to a whole new level, S. Thomas’ play a superior brand of rugby. This is why we firmly believe that Prima Treats and S. Thomas’ rugby are an awesome combination,” stated Senior Business and Senior Marketing Manager Sajith Gunaratne.
