People’s Bank Western Zonal Sports Festival at Colombo on 10 September

People’s Bank Sports club has organised sports festivals gathering all People’s Bank branches, Regional and Zonal Head Office  to coincide with the 50th  Anniversary commemoration of the People’s Bank. Western Zonal Sports Festival will be held at Colombo CCC grounds on 10 September 2011.

More than 3000 members from Western I and Western II Zone including Head Office, Corporate Banking Division, Gampha, Colombo South, Colombo North, Colombo Outer and Kalutara regional staff members will be participated for this remarkable ceremony.  Cricket, Volley ball, Foot ball, Net ball, as main sports items and track events and tug-of-war in Zonal viz and fun items for kids.  

The sports ceremony proudly enounce by the Chairman of People’s Bank                               W. Karunajeewa and  the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Wasantaha Kumar on 10 September at 8.00 a.m. and the closing ceremony and the prize giving will be held in the evening.
