Pakistan last night thrashed Bangladesh by 8 wickets at Pallekele in the ICC World T20 tournament qualifying for the Super 8s.
Bangladesh batted first scoring 175 for six in its 20 overs whilst Pakistan in reply overtook the score in under 19 overs with loss of just two wickets. It was Pakistan’s biggest victory margin in ICC World T20.
Shakib Al Hasan top scored for Bangladesh with 84 off 54 balls whilst Pakistan opener Imran Nazir cracked a powerful 72 in 36 balls with three 6s and nine 4s.
