Australian fast bowling great Glenn McGrath has been announced as the next inductee to the International Cricket Council Hall of Fame.
McGrath made 124 Test appearances for Australia between 1993 and 2007, and he joins West Indian batting great Brian Lara and English women’s player Enid Bakewell as 2012/13 inductees.
He took 563 Test wickets at an average of 21.64 and on the one-day international scene he played a pivotal role in Australia’s World Cup triumphs in 1999, 2003 and 2007.
