In keeping with its policy of partnering with local cricket governing bodies, CricHQ recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MCA, the main facilitator for cricket played within the corporate fraternity of Sri Lanka.
MCA President Ashley Ratnayake said that as the premier cricket promoting and developing association in the country, MCA welcomes the partnership with CricHQ since it will be possible for MCA to continue its objectives and ensure that cricket played at MCA will be at the highest level and for MCA to continue being the feeder of players even for national selection and representation.
“The partnership with CricHQ will also give the much needed recognition for our players not only locally but internationally as well for them to continue pursuing their dreams whilst indulging in the sport they so passionately love,” he added.
CricHQ Country Manager Druvi De Silva explained that Cric HQ is in the business of providing cricket information management solutions using new and existing applications that will support cricket communities worldwide to have access to the game played at grassroots to international level.
“Our association with the MCA will certainly bring about a change in how cricketing information is managed and made use of in the Mercantile and corporate sector of Sri Lanka,” he said.
