Maliyadeva Boys and Girls clinch victories in All-Island U-15 C’ships

The players from Maliyadeva Girls and Boys College won the All-Island Samaposha Under-15 Football Championship, which concluded at Maligapitiya Grounds in Kurunegala. 

In the boys segment, Maliyadeva Boys defeated Nishanka MV 6-0 and Maliyadeva Adarsha beat Parakramabahau MV three to nothing in the other semi-final encounter.

In the finals Maliyadeva boys beat Maliyadeva Adarsha Vidyalaya one to nothing, qualifying for the finals round through this win.  Meanwhile in the girls segment, Maliaydeva Girls had an easy passage to the finals when they defeated Parakramabahu MV five to nothing, while in the second semi-final Digampitiya MV beat Kavisigamuwa MV two to nothing.  In the finals Maliadeva Girls beat Digampitiya MV two to nothing to qualify for the final round.
