Lyceum Wattala champions for 6th consecutive year at Int’l Schools Karate Championship 2016

The Inter International Schools Karate Championship organised by Leeds International School Panadura for the seventh consecutive year was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 1 and 2nd November.

14 international schools participated at the tournament and Lyceum International Wattala won the Championship for the sixth consecutive year with 1359 points and several Individual Championships. Leeds International School won the first runners up trophy with 871 points and Lyceum International Panadura became second runners up with 728 points. The Individual Championships was won by Nehan Welgama (U-8 boys), Aran Wimalarathne (U-9 Boys) Manuth Mullakanda (U-10 Boys) Kishala Swwaandi (U-10 Girls) Sayah Udumalagala (U-11 Girls) Rishi Ravi (U-12 Boys) Senaya De Silva (U-15 Girls) and Chandunika Lasari (U-17 Girls).
