HSBC has been a longstanding supporter of golf both in Sri Lanka and globally. Taking this one step further, HSBC has come forward to support and develop the game by launching the first-ever HSBC Junior International Golf Championship. The event will be held on the 10 August at RCGC, featuring junior national teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In order to popularise the game further, HSBC - together with the Sri Lanka Golf Union, the national body for golf in Sri Lanka -undertook a golf grassroots outreach program.
Titled HSBC Future Lions, this program seeks to reach out to children across the country and will be held in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Anuradhapura and Colombo this month.
