Today there will be three matches down for decision. Army SC will host the Air Force at the Army grounds. Army SC after their nail-biting win over Navy SC is a different outfit for this game. Airmen will find it tough to contain after two heavy defeats against Navy SC and Kandy SC.

Unbeaten Havies will be at Welisara playing the Sailors. Sailors won one game and lost the last weekend against the Soldiers. Havies have a clear edge with some classy players under their belt. Dhanushka Ranjan with his pace can find gaping holes in any defense. He is one of the best players in club rugby this season. He will get the support from National Sevens Skipper Sudarshan Muthuthnthri, Skipper Sandun Herath and Rahul De Silva.
This game will be refereed by Priyantha Gunaratne.
The pick of this week’s match will be the one at the Police Park today when the Cops host the unbeaten Kandy SC. Kandy though winning both their games very comfortably will come under pressure as they travel down to Colombo for the very first time this season. The quicker they settle down it will make their life easy. If not it will be a tough task to get back into the game.
Kandy is fortunate to have the best set of players such as Skipper Fazil Marija, Richard Dharmapala, Sayuru Anthony, Kishore Jahan, Gayan Weeraratne and Arshard Jamaldeen all playing well to date. Police SC will heavily depend on the place kicker Reza Mubarak, Bilal Hassen, Sharo Fernando and Terence Henry to deliver the goods. Kandy SC is having a slight edge over their opponents.
This encounter will be officiated by Aruna Rankothge.
