Kandy lose in UAE

Kandy, who have been plagued by injuries to six of their senior players, suffered their first defeat on their trip to the UAE when they were beaten by the Abu Dhabi Harliqueens 56-17 in the Asia Rugby Western Clubs Championship 2016. 

In the opening game, the Dubai Exiles and Abu Dhabi Harliqueens drew their game 15-15.

Kandy play their last tour game against the Dubai Exiles on 9 September.
