Kandy lead the points table after week 5

Defending league champions Kandy Sports Club is leading the points table after week 5 in the on going Inter club league rugby tournament 2015/2016. Kandy had a close call against CR & FC while Havies too had a narrow shave against Army. Havies played minus six of their regulars for this encounter including their star player Dhanushka Ranjan who is on the injured list but will recover for their important clash against Kandy SC on 2 January at Havelock Park. 

Kandy will play their last league encounter against the Sailors at Nittawela on 10 January  which is a much anticipated  encounter for the Kandy crowd. The other important clash in the next two weeks will see Navy being hosted by CR & FC on 2 January at Longdon Place and Police play their last league game against the Solders on 9 January at the Army Grounds in Diyagama.
