Jonty Rhodes arrives for short coaching stint

Jonty Rhodes, the former South African batsman, arrived in the country yesterday for a short stint for 10 days as a fielding coach, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said in a release.

The current Mumbai Indians fielding coach is in Sri Lanka ahead of the home series against Pakistan which starts next month.

“Jonty Rhodes will educate the coaches apart from the national cricketers and other national, development and junior teams on the latest techniques of fielding,” SLC said.
