The Ananda College Junior Rugby Development Group organised the annual mini rugby carnival for the second successive year with the participation of 19 leading schools from Colombo and Kandy and was held on 13 October 2012 at Havelocks Sports Club, Colombo 05.
The principal sponsor was Asian Finance Ltd. The objective of the event was to promote the game among the younger generation through match experiences while nurturing sportsmanship.
The cup championships were won by the following team:
Under 9 – Wesley College
Under 10 – Wesley College
Under 11 – Zahira College
Under 12 – Science College
Under 13– Isipathana College
