The ICC World T20 2016 will be launched at the St. Regis hotel in Mumbai on Friday, 11 December, at 1200 (India time).
The event will be attended by ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson and BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur.
Following the unveiling of the groups, schedule and other event-related details, there will be a panel discussion, which will also involve India batsmen Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, and will be emceed by former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar.
The prestigious tournament is scheduled to take place in March in India.
The final of the tournament will be played at the famous Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Bangalore, Chennai, Dharamshala, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur and New Delhi are the other locations which will play host to matches.
