The winners were each presented with fully sponsored hospitality packages to witness the HSBC WGC Champions Tournament in Shanghai.
Winning the inaugural HSBC Premier Golf Tournament Niloo Jayatilake stated: “I consider myself very lucky to get an opportunity to witness the world’s best golfers in action at HSBC Championship hailed as ‘Asia’s Major’. I look forward to seeing Henrik Stenson, Phil Mickelson and Rory Mcllroy. It’s a dream come true!”
Nimal Wettimuny who has participated and won at many golf tournaments stated: “The HSBC Premier Golf tournament was well organised both on and off the course. HSBC has continued to support the game of golf in Sri Lanka by creating opportunity for players to be part of a world famous event. I look forward to participating in the tournament every year and happy to be heading to China to witness the HSBC World Champions Golf Tournament.”

Sri Lanka has spectacular and contrasting golf courses and Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) being the second oldest club in Sri Lanka, was the perfect location to host a prestigious event of this nature, which was further compliment with the climate, notes HSBC.
The tournament also attracted a large contingent of golf enthusiasts, paired with exclusive hospitality offers at the two leading hotels in Nuwara Eliya and many restaurants to and from the location. Further, customers were treated to complimentary reflexology from Foot Rub that enabled them to relax in ultimate comfort after a hard day on the course.
The tournament concluded with a glittering and entertainment packed awards ceremony held at the Club House.
