Havelocks are making a name for themselves this rugby season and with another excellent performance defeated a strong Air Force team by 22 points (2 goals, a try, a penalty) to 13 (a goal, a try) in their Caltex Rugby League fixture at Havelock Park yesterday.
Havelocks scored all their points in the first half to take a comprehensive 22/3 lead at lemons.
Air Force fought back in the second half to score 10 more points through two tries.
Centre Anuruddha Vilwara, Captain Kavinda Jayasena and Atelia scored a try each for the winners. Atelia also made the three conversions.
Winger Charith Seneviratne and Kurukulasuriya scored a try each for Airmen and Seneviratne also put over the penalty. (TBR)
