In addition to this the Galadari Hotel clinched the awards for ‘Man of the Match’, which was won by Aruna Thenuwara, ‘Man of the Series’ and Best Fielder’, won by Hemantha Peiris and ‘Best Bowler’ won by Sunil Fernando.
The day was filled with much celebration, food and good sport. The entire purpose of the event was to bring about camaraderie amongst the five star city hotel finance sectors. The hotels that participated were Galadari, Hilton, Taj Samudra, Cinnamon Lakeside, Cinnamon Grand and the Keells Hotel Management Service Ltd.
The Cricket Fiesta was a six-a-side tournament and was a well organised event which ensured that everyone who participated enjoyed the game of cricket while bringing about friendship within the sector.
