Unbeaten, ETI outplayed MAS Unichela “B” in all departments to win by 177 runs and lift the Coca- Cola cup for the first time in the MCA “Centenary Year” 2011, division “B” 50-overs League Tournament Final, concluded at the Colts grounds recently.
The sponsorship by Coca-Cola was in its second year with the view of fostering a healthy active lifestyle by promoting sports in the country. Rohitha Amarapala, HR Development & Employee Relations Manager – Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited (CCBSL) was the Chief Guest at the occasion while Alistair Senn, Key Accounts Manager - CCBSL was the Guest of Honour. They were joined by Key Accounts Manager, Gayantha Francis - CCBSL together with MCA’s centenary President Mahesh Wijewardene, his senior VP, Ashley Ratnayake and Senior Member Tournament Committee, Sanjeewa de Silva, to give away the awards at the post tournament presentation.
