With Sri Lanka’s most famous ‘big match’ only a few short weeks away, fan-favourite Elephant House has once again come on board to partner what is expected to be yet another thrilling ‘Battle of the Blues’ encounter. Announcing its partnership for 2015’s 136th Royal Thomian Cricket Match, a tournament with which it has had long-standing ties, Elephant House also committed to continuing to delight fans of this legendary school cricket showcase, slated to be held on 12, 13 and 14 March this year at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC), by offering its full range of products, encompassing all Elephant House Soft Drink and Ice Cream refreshments, in addition to delicious meats from the Keells Food products range – all brought together to ensure that fun-loving ‘big match’ spectators are offered only the best of refreshments, to heighten the levels of enjoyment associated with the tournament’s true carnival atmosphere and keep the ‘Battle of the Blues’ tradition alive and relevant. “Having partnered with the ‘Battle of the Blues’ for over two decades now, we are happy and proud to come on board once again as the 2015 tournament’s Food and Beverages (F&B) sponsor. More than a being partner in name only, we at Elephant House and Keells Foods promise to continue engaging and delighting our fans of all ages, as we do every year. Because nothing adds more to the fun and festivities of ‘big match fever’ than enjoying an EGB or Necto, a plate of devilled Keells sausages and a cool and creamy Wonder Bar icy choc amongst friends,” said Daminda Gamlath, Vice President – John Keells Holdings, and Head of Beverages – Elephant House.
