Eagle 6’s is back

A popular sport event in the freight forwarding industry ‘Eagle 6’s’ is back on 17 Sep 2011 at NCC grounds for the fourth consecutive year.

 ‘Eagle Logistics Challenge Trophy’ as formally known, was first played with two teams EAM Maliban Textiles and Voguetex Group in 2007 as a friendly encounter to strengthen the relationship between the staff.

However, today this event has become a most wanted event by customers and this year, 42 teams of Eagle Logistics top corporate customers fighting for this trophy.  Past champions were Voguetex Group/2007, DIMO/2008 and Energynet Ltd. in 2010.

Eagle Logistics Managing Director Asanga Weerackody said: ‘Although this has become a challenging tournament, our main goal is to meet our customers and spend time with them in an enjoyable atmosphere.”
