Dinesh Jayawardana of Team Mobil grabs AMRC championship title

One of the most experienced and dynamic racing drivers in Sri Lanka Dinesh Jayawardana, grabbed the checkered flag at the Pannala Race track last Sunday (10 November 2013) at the Speed Championship organised by the Asian Motor Racing Club.

Dinesh J placed 1st in both events SLGT (Super Car) and SLH (Honda) which were two thrilling events as some of the challenging drivers were among the competitors which gave a tough drive till the end. “Winning the championship title is any race driver’s goal and I’m happy that 2013 has been well for me beyond my expectations,” stated Dinesh Jayawardana.

The highlighting event on that day, the pink car driven by the only lady driver Shehara Jayawardana, brand ambassador for Avon Tyres placed 2nd in the SLN (Nissan March) event facing all challenges towards the goal.
