Trinity opening bat and consistent performer Dilan Jayalath completed 1,000 runs for this season, becoming only the third player this season and the first from the hill capital to do so.
He has scored one century and six half centuries so far. Dilan will have three important matches left this season against S. Thomas’, Royal and St. Anthony’s.
Trinity also feature in the Singer Cup quarter final with the winner of St. Peter’s and Gurukula MV which will be played early next week.
