The HSBC sponsored CR&FC team beat CH&FC in the opening match of the Caltex League Rugby Tournament. The match was played on Friday at the CH Grounds, Maitland Crescent.  CR won the match against CH by 14 points (2 goals) to 8 (1 penalty, 1 try)
