Club Bentota regained the men’s title for the second successive year, while Amaya Lake, Kandalama emerged as the new women’s winner at the 36th Travel Trade Sports Club Softball Cricket Sixes at Shalika and D.S. Senanayake College grounds on Sunday.
In an all Bentota Men’s final at Shalika grounds, a hat trick by Dunil Darshana propelled the defending Champions, Club Bentota to beat Bentota Beach Hotel by three wickets.
In a low scoring women’s final Amaya Lake Kandalama piped former Champions, Club Hotel Dolphin, Waikkaal by four wickets, the winning run coming in the last ball.
