The contest between the traditional rivals, also the two best sides in the tournament, quite lived up to its billing. Australia came from behind to secure a thrilling two-run victory over England in a Super Six match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2013 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Friday (February 8).

The rescue act by the Australian bowlers bailed the team out yet again as it defended a meagre total of 147. After a brilliant show by the England bowlers to restrict Australia, its batters failed to get their act together as England was bowled out for 145 in 47.3 overs.
