Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, today announced the renewal of its partnership for the second time as the principal sponsor of the Kingswood College rugby team.
Kingswood College created history by introducing rugby to Sri Lanka in 1891 under the guidance of the school’s founder L.E. Blaze. In 1906, the first ever match between two schools were played between Kingswood College and Trinity College. The match ended in a draw. At the moment, the Kingswood College rugby team is placed at Division 1 Group A.
