Acer and Metropolitan powered the Sri Lanka’s ICT Industry Cricket Championship 2017 held at P Sara Oval Grounds organised by the Federation of IT Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS). This event was a much-awaited event by the ICT industry and FITIS has been organising this prestigious event for the last 11 consecutive years.
Speaking about the event, FITIS Hardware Chapter President Sudath Amarasinghe said, “This year, Hardware Chapter of FITIS is organising the Annual Cricket Championship 2017 for the ICT industry for the 12th time. This is a very popular event organised by FITIS. More than 100 teams and 7,000 visitors are attracted for the cricket championship every year. It will be a more glamorous event with ICT Queen Contest, DJ music giving greater enjoyment for the visitors and participants this time facilitating more networking opportunities among the ICT industry peers. I sincerely thank all the sponsors and partners who came forward to support this industry endeavour and invite all the stakeholders to come and enjoy the day with Cricket on 7 May at P Sara Oval Grounds.”

ICT Industry Annual Cricket Championship is one of the largest networking events organised by FITIS enabling to connect all stakeholders together in a single forum.
