The game proceeded with toddy tapping tightropes to fishing stilts ranging from 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 8ft and finally 10ft in trying conditions. Adding to the challenge, each team member at each stilt had to fish for a marker from the rising tides and place it in a pouch before moving on to the next stilt, all within a set timeframe.
Team ‘A 350’ representing Sri Lankan Airlines comprising Aravinda Aluthwatta, Sujitha Silva, L.D.H. Manjula and Nuwan Darshana emerged victorious to be crowned champions of the first-ever Red Bull Levels.
Team A 350 said: “It was pretty difficult at first but once we got the hang of it, we were able to win the elimination rounds strategically. This is undoubtedly the toughest challenge we have ever faced and are humbled to have bagged the debut Red Bull levels.” “Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts saw the event as an innovative, vibrant and a youthful initiative. We are delighted to have partnered with Red Bull in their first Red Bull Levels,” Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts Head of Brand Marketing Dileep Mudadeniya noted.
The event was held at Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts’ Bentota Beach Hotel which was the Official Hospitality Partner, while Yes FM, the Official Radio Station, aired live updates throughout the day from Bentota Beach and www.roar.lk, the Official Digital partner, captured candid moments of the first-ever Red Bull Levels.
