Zahira College Group of 90’s Sports Festival on Sunday

The Group of 90’s of Zahira College Colombo will be having its annual Sports Festival for the 14th consecutive year on Sunday at Zahira College Grounds from 7.30 a.m. onwards. The Organising Committee of this Festival has lined up several events for the Old Boys as well as for the present students of the college.

This year too there will be a six-a-side softball Cricket tournament, six-a-side Soccer tournament, Tag Rugby Tournament, an Exhibition Soccer match between G90 and OBA. There will be Trade Stalls, Entertainment for Kids, Face Painting, Tug of war and many more surprises at the festival.

The intention of organising a festival of this nature is primarily to foster goodwill among the Old Boys and also to generate funds for the development of the college infrastructure and students educational and extra-curricular activities.

HS Foundation Chairman Hameed Sadik will be the Chief Guest of this festival and I.Y.M. Hanif and M.J. Feroz Mohamed will be the Guests of Honour.
