Zahira College G90s Sports Festival 2017 to be held tomorrow

The 11th Annual Sports Festival organiseed by the Zahira College Colombo Group of ‘90s (G90s) will be held tomorrow at the college grounds from 7.30 am onwards.

  The Sports Festival is a key project the G90s have undertaken in order to uplift and enhance good morals through sports whilst raising funds for the betterment of the same, the organisers said in a statement. 

“Believing in sport, in any form, the core principle being discipline, we strive upon it to contribute to the development of the nation’s efforts to produce and groom future adults.”

 President of the Group of ‘90s M. F. M. Arshad, Secretary A. R. M. Infiyaz, Project Chairman Sports Festival 2017 Irfan Alavy, Co-Chairman Sports Festival 2017 N. M. Shiraz and G90s Executive Committee Members are pleased to arrange Cricket, Football and Rugby tournaments among Old Zahirians as major sporting events at the Sports Festival 2017, the statement went on to say.
