Wesley College will be all out to defend their title at the Milo All Island Under 16 ten-a-side rugby tournament, which will take place today at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium, Pallekele, and the Bogambara Stadium. Second day’s play will take place at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy tomorrow.
In the 2018 event, Wesley beat the Rajans. Wesley will have to see off Vidyartha, Mahanama, and Prince of Wales in their group encounters. Meanwhile Rajans, will need to play their best to overcome Thurstan, Richmond and Lalith Athulathmudali in their group encounters. Trinity playing their matches at home will need to get the better of Antonians and St Benedict’s before moving in to the second round. Thirty schools will lock horns in this year’s event.
