Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has taken a decision to replay all the matches affected by bad weather and ended in a no-result in the ongoing SLC Major T20 inter-club tournament.

Tournament Committee Chairman Samantha Dodanwela said that the main objective of playing the tournament was to identify players for the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Player Draft, and in this aspect due to bad weather washing out several matches they could not fulfil the purpose.

Dodanwela said the Tournament Committee had received the blessings of the SLC Executive Committee to go ahead and replay the washed out matches. The rescheduled dates for the matches are 5, 6, 7 and 8 June after which the group leaders will qualify to play in the semi-finals.
