Vidyartha wins Kandy District U-20 Hockey tourney

Vidyartha College won the Kandy District Under-20 Hockey Championship 2022 which took place at the University ground in Peradeniya recently.

Vidyartha drew with Trinity Nil all and beat Antonians 2/0. In the semi-final encounter they got the better of Rajans 6/5 in penalty shoot-out.

They beat Trinity in the final 2/0.

Vidyartha will participate at the Under All Island Inter Schools Hockey Tournament which will take place from 12 to 15 October in Matale.
