Two club rugby matches to be played today

The sixth week of club rugby league matches will be played today and tomorrow, with all matches set to be played in Colombo.

Action will begin with an encounter between Navy and Army at Welisara today.

Army, who were in peak form, lost their touch in the game against Kandy in the hills. They were thrashed by more than 50 points in a one-sided affair. So the game against Navy will be a major test for Head Coach Radhika Hettiarachchi and his team.

The sailors should find things tough but they will be expected to give a good account of themselves playing at home.
