Thomians pull out of Milo Trophy

Singer League 2018 Plate Champions S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia pulled out of the Milo Trophy knockout rugby competition, which will kick off on 16June.

This will allow the third-placed Plate segment team, Maliyadeva, to warm up for their promotion next season to the top division with a berth in the knockout tournament. Both semifinals will be worked off at Sugathadasa Stadium on 23 and 24 June while the final will be played at Race Course rugby grounds on 30June. (SJ)
