Thomians battle for Eric Hulangamuwa Trophy

The fourth annual Battle of the Thomians’ (Matale and Mt. Lavinia) Hockey Encounter, which is played for the Eric Hulangamuwa Shield, will be kick off today at the Astro Hockey Turf, Reid Avenue.

The initial encounter was won by the Matale lads by 2/0 and the following year by 1/0,favouring the Hill Country lads. The 2017 encounter ended in a nil all draw.
